This is Milo, my son. So far he has 8 teeth and about 26 hairs.
I am Jupiter, Milo’s father. 30s, many teeth and few hairs.
Kuepps is Milo’s mum, my wife. She has both excellent teeth and hair. When Kuepps went back to work in June 2015 after 8 months at home, Milo and I embarked on an adventure together for 4.5 months filled with competitive wheelbarrowing, talent scouts from Macau, gym trainers from Eastern Europe and the ever present and futile challenge of impressing our local baristas.
This blog recorded those heady days of mutual learning and omelette sharing.
I returned to work in September 2015, 4 days a week, and have continued to record our days together – these are the adventures of Milo and Jupiter, musings of a (now sometimes) stay-at-home-dad.
When I received this invite I must say I was initially reluctant at the prospect of being coaxed into the online media cosmos. But since in the space you are the Commodore Perry to my Tokugawa, I couldn’t resist and as always, a Juepps blog never disappoints. Good to see you are putting runs on the board big guy, albeit the quick singles. I shall watch this blog religiously as I too join the DDC ranks in Canberra before venturing abroad.
If I may offer a quick tip from my short DDC stint sans wife: upgrade from NBA Jam to 2k15. That way if you miss the last few minutes of Game 5 due to a Milo fail you can always pick it up again vicariously and embody the Steph Curry revolution.
